Kazanlak Rose Festival 2027: 4–6 June

The main dates for the 2027 Rose Festival have been announced! From 4 to 6 June 2027, Kazanlak will celebrate the festival’s main weekend, dedicated to the beauty of the Bulgarian rose and the traditions of the Rose Valley.

If you enjoy journeys filled with local customs, music and a festive atmosphere, save these dates in your calendar. Early June is a wonderful opportunity to visit Kazanlak and experience the town’s best-known celebration.

Celebrations begin in May

The festival will begin in mid-May 2027 with the selection of the new Rose Queen. Weeks of cultural events, music and celebrations of local traditions will then lead up to the main festive weekend in June.

The Rose Festival is an invitation to discover the spirit of Kazanlak: customs passed down through generations, the beauty of its rose gardens and the joy of celebrating together.
