Alexander Nevsky Cathedral is one of Sofia’s most recognisable landmarks. Its Neo-Byzantine architecture, golden domes and spacious square create a striking ensemble in the capital’s centre. The crypt houses the Museum of Christian Art. A visit combines easily with a walk to nearby Saint Sophia Basilica.
