Council Square, Brașov

Council Square, Piața Sfatului, is the heart of historic Brașov. Formerly a setting for markets and public life, it is framed by historic houses with distinctive façades. The old Council House stands in the centre. The square connects naturally with the Black Church and pedestrian streets, making it a useful landmark for exploring the compact old town.
