Romanian Athenaeum – Bucharest

The Romanian Athenaeum is one of central Bucharest’s most recognisable cultural buildings. Opened in 1888, the concert hall is home to the George Enescu Philharmonic. Its dome and columned façade create a distinctive neoclassical silhouette. Programme E7 presents the Athenaeum as a landmark during the panoramic tour of the Romanian capital.
