Day 1
Departure from Plovdiv at 05:00, outside the Trimontium Hotel. Boarding is available in Veliko Tarnovo at the Etar Hotel, and in Ruse. Short breaks en route.
Arrival in Bucharest, Romania’s capital, combining a rich historical heritage, impressive architecture and a lively urban atmosphere.
Visit to Bucharest’s Natural History Museum, with impressive displays of minerals and gemstones, dinosaur skeletons and varied natural history collections introducing the world of nature.
Walk through Bucharest’s Old Town, the historic heart of the capital, with picturesque lanes, beautiful buildings, restaurants and cosy venues. Free time for a stroll and an opportunity for lunch.

In the evening, discover the Christmas fairytale of Bucharest!
Visit to the Christmas market on Constitution Square, in front of the imposing Parliament building. During the festive period, the square becomes a true Christmas village, lit by thousands of lights and filled with music, scents and festive cheer.
Among the Christmas stalls, you will find original gifts, handmade items, traditional souvenirs and festive decorations. You can also sample the flavours of the Romanian winter: local specialities, traditional stuffed cabbage rolls with mămăligă, delicious desserts and hot drinks.

Day 2
Breakfast.
Visit to Cotroceni Palace, one of Bucharest’s emblematic historic buildings. With a history spanning several centuries, the palace impresses with its architecture, rich interiors and connections to Romania’s royal family. Today part of the complex serves as the presidential residence, while another part is open to visitors as a museum.
Visit to AFI Cotroceni, one of Romania’s largest shopping and entertainment centres. Free time for shopping, lunch and entertainment. The mall offers a variety of shops, restaurants, a cinema and attractions for visitors of all ages.
Departure for Bulgaria. Arrival in Plovdiv late in the evening.
