Day-by-day itinerary

Day 1

Departure from Serdika Bus Station, Sofia, at 06:00, following the route Sofia – Veliko Tarnovo – Ruse – Bucharest.

Boarding is available in Botevgrad, Sevlievo, Veliko Tarnovo and Ruse.

Optional return transfers from Plovdiv and Pernik are available for a supplement, with a minimum of 5 participants.

Around noon, arrival at Therme Bucharest, the tropical paradise of the Balkans (admission is not included in the price).

Hotel check-in. Overnight stay.

Day 2

Breakfast. Check-out.

Arrival in the city centre. Optional activity for a supplement:

Organised visit to the Village Museum: 6 euros (admission is not included in the price).

Free time in Romania’s capital, also known as “Little Paris”.

An opportunity to see the fountains opposite Parliament, the Patriarchate and the church housing the relics of St Demetrius of Basarbovo, the Old Town, and to walk around Unirii Square, Romania’s Champs-Élysées, modelled on the famous square in Paris but built, on Ceaușescu’s orders, 1 m wider and 6 m longer.

Departure for Bulgaria at 14:30. Arrival in Sofia around 22:00.

  • The Palm — visitors over 14, including Galaxy: adult 34 euros; pupils aged 14–18 and pensioners 124 RON, approximately 25 euros.
  • Galaxy — all ages: adult 27 euros; children under 3 free; children aged 3–14: 84 RON, approximately 17 euros; pupils aged 14–18 and pensioners 91 RON, approximately 18 euros.
  • Each 30 minutes beyond the prepaid period costs an additional 5 RON.
  • Towel hire: 21 RON, approximately 4.50 euros.
  • Bathrobe hire: 29 RON, approximately 6 euros.
