Day 1: Sofia – Chavdar – Sofia

12:00 – departure from Sofia, Serdika Bus Station, for Chavdar.

Visit Topolnitsa Archaeological Park to see reconstructed Neolithic dwellings and an exhibition about the area's ancient inhabitants. Visit the nearby St Petka Chapel.

Free time at the Christmas market on Vasil Levski Square in Chavdar. Browse stalls selling handcrafted items, shop for festive gifts and enjoy the opportunity to try food and mulled wine. Food, drinks and personal purchases are paid for separately.

19:00 – departure for Sofia. Arrival at approximately 21:00.
