Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1
Meet at Sofia Airport (Terminal 2) for the flight to Athens. Landing at Athens Airport. Transfer to the hotel (approximately 30 minutes). Check-in. Free time for a walk. Overnight stay. (See the flight schedule in the Useful Information section.)
Day 2
Breakfast. Free time or, optionally and with advance booking, a panoramic tour of Athens (approximately 2 ½ hours): Hadrian's Arch, a triumphal arch built in 131 BC and named after the Roman emperor Hadrian; the Temple of Zeus, which surpassed the Parthenon on the Acropolis in size; the old Olympic Stadium, built in 1895 on the site of the ancient 4th-century-BC stadium and used for the first modern Olympic Games; Parliament, the former palace of Otto, the first king of Greece; Syntagma Square. Optional, ONLY with advance booking (NOT AVAILABLE ON SITE!): a visit to the Acropolis with a local guide (approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes), exploring the entire temple complex, including the Parthenon, Mnesicles' Propylaea, the Erechtheion and the Temple of Nike (temples viewed from the outside!). Free time in Athens, with the opportunity to visit the new Acropolis Museum, housing all the artefacts found on and around the hill from the Bronze Age through the Roman and Byzantine periods; the National Archaeological Museum, with one of the richest collections of ancient art; the Byzantine Museum, with a rich collection of Byzantine art and architecture; or the Benaki Museum, a private museum with a magnificent collection illustrating thousands of years of Greek history. Afternoon free time or an optional, pre-booked excursion to the Temple of Poseidon (at least 3 ½ hours), built on a coastal cliff at Cape Sounion with a wonderful view of the Aegean Sea. Return to the hotel. In the evening, festive New Year’s Eve dinner (starting after 22:00) with an extensive buffet menu, including UNLIMITED soft drinks, local beer, white and red wine and a glass of champagne at midnight, with a BULGARIAN DJ at the Icarus restaurant on the 1st floor of The Stanley 4* hotel! Overnight stay.
Day 3
Happy New Year! Breakfast. Free time in Athens or an optional full-day excursion to the Peloponnese: photo stops at the Corinth Canal and Mycenae; visit to Nafplio, an ancient town with a rich culture and traditions. In the evening, a festive dinner with a BULGARIAN DJ at the Icarus restaurant on the 1st floor of The Stanley 4* hotel! Overnight stay.
Day 4
Breakfast. Transfer to Athens Airport (approximately 30 minutes) for the flight to Sofia. Landing at Sofia Airport (Terminal 2). (See the flight schedule in the Useful Information section.)

The airline reserves the right to change flight times!
Bookings: deposit on booking — 35% of the base tour price plus the cost of additional services booked and the full airfare; balance due no later than 35 days before departure.
Cancellations: from ticket issue until the 36th day before departure — 35% of the total price plus the airfare; from the 35th day until departure — 100% of the total price, including airfare.
Cancellation less than 24 hours before departure or a no-show incurs a 100% penalty.
Children up to 1.99 years pay EUR 75 and do not occupy a seat on the aircraft or the coach during transfers. No extra bed is provided; they use a cot or share their parents’ bed!
The organiser reserves the right to change routes and times or move excursions to another day when required by weather conditions, to ensure safety and service quality.
Changes to routes and itineraries during excursions due to force majeure or weather conditions do not entitle travellers to a refund of excursion costs.
Additional services must be requested at least 12 full working days before departure, subject to availability.
Credit cards are not accepted for payment of excursions on site.
Entry to churches with bare shoulders or knees is not permitted.
Additional services and activities in the itinerary must be requested when signing the package travel contract, as they depend on minimum participant numbers and advance reservations. The following admission discounts apply at museums and archaeological sites in Greece: children under 18 — free admission on presentation of an identity document; people over 65 — 50% off the admission fee on presentation of an identity document; students holding international ISIC student cards — free admission on presentation of the card.

There are no medical or health requirements associated with the trip.
Bulgarian citizens travelling to the country must hold a passport or identity card valid for at least 6 months after the date of entry.
