Day-by-day itinerary

07:30 – departure from Sofia, Serdika Bus Station. A short break is planned along the way.

Travel to Zlatolist and visit St George's Church, where Prepodobna Stoyna lived. Her preserved cell and grave commemorate her life, while the old plane tree in the courtyard features in local traditions. Free time.

Continue to Melnik, with free time for a walk and lunch at your own expense.

Travel to Rozhen Monastery and visit its Church of the Nativity of the Virgin Mary. The coach stops below the monastery; an approximately 1 km walk leads past Yane Sandanski's grave and the Church of Saints Cyril and Methodius.

Return to Sofia at around 20:30, with drop-off at Sofia Central Railway Station. The agency may change the order of the programme.

Payment: the full excursion price is payable at the time of booking. Travellers under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. The route to Rozhen Monastery includes an approximately 1 km walk from the coach stopping point. In Sofia, departure is from Serdika Bus Station and the return drop-off is at Central Railway Station. The agency reserves the right to change the order of the programme.

For a shared group on an advertised departure date: a minimum of 30 participants is required. If this minimum is not reached, travellers will be notified 2 days before departure.

A 30% discount is advertised for new bookings by BART members; the applicable conditions are confirmed at booking.
