Day-by-day itinerary

07:30 – departure from Sofia, Serdika Bus Station. Short break at Kresnensko Hanche.

Visit Rupite to see St Petka Church, the springs and Vanga's house.

Continue to Melnik for a walk through the town, known for its traditional architecture and sandstone formations. Optional visit to Kordopulov House, with an opportunity for wine tasting, at an additional charge. At the Wine Museum, visitors can sample wines and have the opportunity to bottle and seal wine. Free time in Melnik.

Continue to Rozhen Monastery to visit the monastery and its church. The coach stops below the monastery; an approximately 1 km walk leads past Yane Sandanski's grave and the Church of Saints Cyril and Methodius.

Return to Sofia at approximately 20:30. The agency reserves the right to change the order of visits.

Payment: the full excursion price is payable at the time of booking. Travellers under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. The itinerary includes an approximately 1 km walk from the coach parking point to Rozhen Monastery. The agency reserves the right to change the order of visits.

For a shared group on an advertised departure date: a minimum of 30 participants is required. If this minimum is not reached, travellers will be notified 2 days before departure. The departure on 11 October 2026 is awaiting confirmation and is not guaranteed.
