Day 1
Depart Sofia at 7.00 from Serdika Bus Station; 7.10 OMV in Mladost, near the Regional Hospital; 7.40 Ihtiman, Motel Ihtiman; 8.10 Pazardzhik, Insa Oill on Trakia motorway; 9.00 Plovdiv, OMV beside Sankt Peterburg hotel; 10.30 Haskovo, OMV at the city entrance. Route Edirne–Istanbul. Free time for lunch at Margi Outlet, Edirne. Evening arrival in Istanbul, check-in and overnight stay.
Day 2
Breakfast. Visit the Bulgarian St Stephen’s Church and take a locally guided walk through old European Istanbul, ancient Constantinople: the Hippodrome, the city’s former centre, Egyptian Obelisk, Serpent Column, Wilhelm II Fountain and Blue Mosque. View Hagia Sophia from outside and the first courtyard of Topkapı. Free time at the covered Grand Bazaar or spice-filled Egyptian Bazaar. Optional Night Istanbul panoramic coach excursion. Overnight stay.
Day 3
Breakfast. Free day in Istanbul. Optional programme: 1. Visit Yıldız Palace, an extensive 19th-century complex and the empire’s last Ottoman palace, with splendid gardens and Bosphorus views, followed by a short walk at Taksim Square. 2. Visit a leather factory and the Aqua Florya mall and aquarium. Free time. Overnight stay.
Day 4
Breakfast. Free day in Istanbul. Optional programme:
1. Panoramic Bosphorus boat trip. From the boat see Dolmabahçe, the new sultan’s palace; Çırağan Palace, former sultan’s residence now one of the world’s most prestigious hotels; Ortaköy, popular with Istanbul’s young people and artists; Rumeli Hisarı and Anadolu Hisarı fortresses; Beylerbeyi summer palace; Maiden’s Tower. Continue with a visit to colourful Balat.
2. Asian Fairytale: coach ride to Istanbul’s Asian side; photo stop outside Beylerbeyi Palace, a baroque palace mainly used to receive foreign visitors in Ottoman times, with beautiful gardens, pool and sculpture collection. Continue by coach past Kuzguncuk, known for colourful streets, cafés and houses from Turkish TV series, and Üsküdar; photo stop at Maiden’s Tower, visit Kadıköy and free time. Return to the hotel by ferry.
3. Turkish evening with entertainment on a panoramic restaurant ship on the Bosphorus.
4. Turkish evening at Gar Gazino restaurant.

Day 5
Breakfast. Depart for Bulgaria. Evening arrival in Haskovo and Plovdiv; in Sofia at Shell, 113 Tsarigradsko Shose Boulevard, beside Sofia Press, and Serdika Bus Station.

At 10% to 19,99% above the stated base, the surcharge for this programme is BGN 6.00 per tourist per trip. Each further 10% increase multiplies the amount accordingly.
Overall, the trip is not suitable for persons with reduced mobility.
