Rope Street, Brașov

Rope Street, or Strada Sforii, is a narrow passage in old Brașov near Șchei Gate. Documented since the seventeenth century, it originally helped firefighters move between neighbouring streets. It is about 80 metres long and roughly 1.1–1.35 metres wide. This small space offers a memorable impression of the closely built fabric of the historic town.
